Lesotho – The people

People are warm and friendly. I only travelled through the mountains and every shepherd is wearing their traditional Basotho woollen blanket. This blanket is thick and warm (what you want in this climate) but one of it particularity is that they never wash it… as a result, it is impregnated with body oil and become waterproof… they use it all year around, to protect themselves against the sun, the wind, the cold, the rain, the snow…
